Who Or What Is the Holy Spirit? — Part Two. “How the Holy Spirit Speaks To Us” This episode explains how the Spirit speaks to and works through those who receive Him. In part one of this series on the Holy Spirit, we learned that the first man, Adam, was fashioned from the beginning in the image of God. Molded from the clay of the newly created earth by the very hands of the Creator, the inanimate lump received the breath of life from God, and became a living soul. Having received what the bible calls, the “spirit of man,” he and we, who descended from Adam, were placed above all other creatures. Most importantly, when one becomes a believer, his or her spirit (small letter “s”) is joined by the indwelling of the Holy Spirit. That relationship lifts a person out of the temporary world and connects them (you and I) to the never-ending world of the soon-coming Kingdom of God.
