Death, like taxes, is inevitable to all living creatures…including man. There are exceptions, but this message deals with what happens after a person passes on.
The proof of biblical prophecy assures the believer that he or she will be raised up at the second coming of Christ as the long-awaited Messiah. For them is the promise of eternal life in a new world without pain, disease, war and a second death.
However, for those who reject that promise, there will also be a resurrection to face God’s throne of judgment.
It will be in the court of no appeal and the sentence will be eternal death and destruction in a burning lake of fire.
Why you may ask would a God of mercy end life in that fashion? The answer is that the coming Kingdom of God cannot contain sin of any kind and so every trace of evil must be eliminated.
The choice of eternal life or death rests on each person’s shoulders and the time for decision is growing ever shorter. Are you in…or are you out?
