Once the Democratic platform stated its belief in the Constitution as representing the primary guide for political affairs. The party dealt with equal employment opportunities, the states taking the lead with limited federal government, taxes limited to only necessary expenditures of the government, multilateral disarmament, opposition to a national bank (Federal Reserve), and against the federal subsidizing of “shovel ready” jobs.
Tragically, while voters, young and old, march lock-step to pull the Socialist lever in the booth, America is being destroyed from the inside. Young people are being indoctrinated in Government funded schools and have become mere puppets of globalist teachers.
The older generation whose blood was spilled on battlefields, and whose sweat and tears stained the rebuilding and improving of a war-torn America, have real skin in the game. It is shocking therefore to see bumper stickers on their cars supporting the campaigns of the very people who could care less about the sacrifices of senior citizens.
