Chaplain R.T. Byrum’s message today is “THE KILLING OF AMERICA.” What is happening to America could be illustrated by a drowning man who keeps pushing away the only safety float that could save his life. This nation, arguably the most blessed in modern history, has been protected and sheltered by the very God upon whose word it was founded. Those who hate her freedom and wish to destroy her were prophesied 2000 years ago and those warnings are coming to pass in increasing intensity and frequency.
The scriptures predicted that wolves would come against us savaging our republic, their fangs dripping with political correctness, acceptance of any religion but Christianity, class envy, evolution vs. creation, domestic partners vs. marriage, government handouts vs. individual responsibility, laws by judges vs. judges of the law, and leadership steeped in lies, cheating, cowardice, and greed.
The Bible promises that the good guys win in the end and that judgment will come on those who would destroy the faithful, but there is no prophesied day and hour for that to occur. We can sit on our hands and be a part of America’s destruction, or we can take part in preserving her for our children and grandchildren until God, not man, decides, “It is finished.”
